Toward the Terra: Magic and Power

Chapter 2 : Aki

Jomy goes there and looks at Akira.

“Are you awake? Who are you?”

“Yes, I am. Before I tell you anything about me, can you let me out from here before I destroy it by myself, please?”

“Ah, okay.”

Jomy opens the door and lets Akira gets out from mind scan place. He brings her to the hall and lets her rest for a while.

“Ergh… my head dizzy. What the hell did you do to me?”

“We do a mind scan.”

“Hah??!! For what?!”

“To find terra location.”

“Terra? What the heck is that?”

“We are searching for the terra.”

“I see. Why can’t you just wait until I wake up and ask me?”

“I’m sorry.”

“Who are you anyway? I’m Aki, Akira Shigeno.”

“Miss Aki? I’m Jomy Marquis Shin, they call me Soldier Shin.”

“Yes. Hi, Jomy. Nice to meet you.”

“I’m sorry for making you like that. Are you feeling okay?”

“I think so. The dizziness is slowly disappearing.”

They give food for Akira to eat. After a while, they change place to the round table at the main hall for discussion. Over there, they ask Akira about the world she lives in and about the terra.

“Why did you come here, Miss Aki?”

“I just come here for vacation. This was the planet that I fell in love 110 years ago. I lived here for 10 years before I went back to my home planet. I called it Mars. ”

“Mars?”

“Yes. It means red planet. It is same with its color that red around all over. Exactly, why did you come here? I never thought there would be other human want to live on Mars except me and my family.”

“We ran away from normal human because they taunt to kill our clan.”

“Clan?”

“Mu clan. You never heard about it?”

“Nope. This is first time I hear about it. Can you show me your power?”

Jomy shows his power by lift up a glass in front of him and put it down back.

“That is psychic! You all are psychic users. Psychic users aren’t different from normal human. You should live freely like normal human, not like this solitude life.”

“Psychic?”

“Yes. If you want to say you are different from normal human, my people are more different because we are magic users. Magic has two types: dark and light magic.”

“Then, where did you come from, Aki?”

“Me? Alright. I will tell you everything about me. My name is Akira Shigeno, a young princess of Shigeno family. I came from different dimension from you. I don’t understand about the terra that you are looking for, but I live on Earth. But, Earth is a planet that pretty much like Mars but it is the only planet that creatures lived on it together. Like human, magic people, animals, system and more. It is a harmony place where you can live happy life but sometimes there will be some thieves, rapist and bad guys.”

“Isn’t there will be an erased memory system?”

“Hah? What is that? You mean system that erases the memories?”

“Yes.”

“Of course not. You think we will brainwash our own people? That’s crazy, you know. We won’t do anything like that.”

“So, what are you talking about system?”

“Owh, That… I talk about electricity, water, internet system, wireless system, study system and working system. That’s all. About people like me who has magic, we have system where we will charge in different field works based on our type of magic. That’s what we said about system.”

Suddenly, Karina and Yui interrupt. They eagerly want to know about the world that Akira is talking about.

“Can you show us about that place?”

“Karina? Yui?”

“We want to see your place.”

“My place? Which place? My home, my world or my workplace?”

“Everything.”

“You just want to know everything about me, don’t you?”

They shock but Akira just smiles at them.

“Alright. I can. You can do it, right Soul Dew?”

“Yes, my master.”

“Who is Soul Dew?”

“This.”

Akira shows her necklace that has a green jade stone with it. It is a device that stores her magic, information and communication.

“My magic device. It stores my magic, the information and also relay communication between my leader, my friends and me. Ready, Soul Dew, set up!”

“Standby, ready. Barrier Jacket: Fierce form.”

Akira changes herself to battle mode. A green jade stone change to a long katana and a gun. She wears a green suit with her hair tie to the left side.

“Illusion, activate!”

The scenery changes to Aki’s world of life. They see how people lived in Aki’s world.

“So, how is it? Beautiful, isn’t it?”

“Yes.”

“This is the real Earth, might be, the one that you are looking for. And, what do you mean by Terra?”

“The thing that human has program a long time ago.”

“Owh… I don’t know about that. This Earth isn’t like your Earth because your Earth and my Earth are from different dimension.”

“Eh?”

“Let us go to my place so you will know who I am exactly. Hehe…”

The scenery changes to ASURA ship.

“This is my workplace. This is my room and that is my assistant a.k.a secretary, Nina. Come. We go to the bridge. That is my friend, Hayate. She is Commander for group 6. She also from Earth like me. There is another person from Earth too. She is Nanoha, the Captain of Star group for group 6. Three of us had magic power because we met with magic creatures that were on their missions.”

“Eh?”

“I know. Weird, right?”

“So, why did you come to that planet in the first place? There is nothing but a desert on that planet.”

“I know that. I came there for my vacation. In fact, I love to go travelling around the world. I travelled every planets and dimensions and built a place for me to stay. Then, I seal it before I go.”

“Seal?”

“Yup. Because I built my mansion over there. Not just at Mars, all planets around here had my mansion on them.”

“Where are your family?”

“Owh… that… Wait up.”

The scenery changes to the big mansion not far from the city where she works. They see Aki’s family that consist her father, mother, elder brother (Shiro) and younger brother (Kira).

“That’s my house and that are my family members. I have two brothers, elder one and younger one. I’m in the middle. But, most of my time right now is for my works. You know, observe the planets.”

They interested to know about it while Jomy steps back a bit from them. Aki sees it and she lets the Soul Dew explains to the others. She walks toward Jomy as she thinks that she need to know what is playing or what he really wants to ask her about.
